Vexjo vs CoinMENA for USDT in Jordan (2026)
Vexjo vs CoinMENA for buying and selling USDT in Jordan, as of October 2026: licensing, fees, CliQ, TRC20, limits, support and when each one wins.
Short answer, as of 23 October 2026: for turning Jordanian dinars into USDT, or USDT back into dinars, vexjo is the more direct choice (CliQ paid into each order, USDT sent to your own wallet in the same order); CoinMENA is the better choice if you want many coins beyond USDT, iOS and Android apps, or a platform inside the Central Bank of Jordan’s sandbox with licenses in Bahrain and Dubai. Vexjo Virtual Assets LLC is a Jordanian company in Amman. Trading USDT for Jordanian dinars since 2016: in person and on WhatsApp first, online platform since 2019. vexjo gives you CliQ both ways in the app, the JOD total before you confirm, USDT sent straight to your own BEP20 or TRC20 wallet, no extra fees and an OTC desk for large amounts. Neither holds a Jordanian license yet. As of 23 October 2026, no company holds a virtual-asset (VASP) license from the Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) yet: on 22 September 2026 the JSC stated that no VASP is licensed by it and that applications are still under review. Is CoinMENA licensed in Jordan? Is vexjo? (as of 23 October 2026)
The Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) licenses virtual-asset service providers (VASPs) in Jordan, under Law No. 14 of 2025; banks and other firms supervised by the Central Bank of Jordan need the Central Bank’s prior approval instead.
As of 23 October 2026, no company holds a virtual-asset (VASP) license from the JSC yet: on 22 September 2026 the JSC stated that no VASP is licensed by it and that applications are still under review. In the JSC’s own Arabic words:
«لا يوجد أي مزود خدمات أصول افتراضية (VASP) مرخص لدى الهيئة، فيما لا تزال الطلبات المقدمة قيد الدراسة»
We found no later license announcement, from the JSC or from any company, up to 23 October 2026. So neither CoinMENA nor vexjo holds a Jordanian VASP license. Here is where each one stands.
CoinMENA, as of 23 October 2026, is in JoRegBox, the Central Bank of Jordan’s regulatory sandbox. There, new financial products are tested live with real customers, under the Central Bank’s oversight and supervision, within limits set for each test. The Central Bank approved CoinMENA’s entry, with three other companies, on 14 January 2026, and announced it on 1 February 2026. The Central Bank’s website lists CoinMENA among the solutions currently in testing, under virtual-asset activities. The JSC’s chairman attended the ceremony, under the patronage of the Central Bank’s governor, that announced the four companies’ entry into the sandbox to begin the actual testing phase (JSC news, 9 February 2026). On 20–21 September 2026, CoinMENA announced that it had started serving users in Jordan inside the sandbox. Petra, the state news agency, reported the company’s statement that it was the first digital currency platform to launch there. At the Jordan FinTech Festival on 23 September 2026, the Central Bank’s governor said JoRegBox has provided a practical space to test new models, understand their risks and measure their effects, before developing the right regulatory response. Paribu, which owns a majority of CoinMENA, said on 5 October 2026 that CoinMENA had made progress in Jordan’s licensing process as the first digital-asset trading platform admitted to the sandbox (a company statement, not a license).
Being in the sandbox is not the same as holding a license. Under the Central Bank’s sandbox framework:
- each test runs for a limited period, which the Central Bank can extend;
- each test has its own controls, such as a maximum number of customers and transaction limits, set to keep potential risks under control;
- even graduating from the sandbox does not mean the Central Bank has issued an official license.
The Central Bank’s public list does not give each test’s period or limits.
Outside Jordan, as of 23 October 2026, CoinMENA B.S.C.(c) is licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain as a crypto-asset service provider. Another CoinMENA company, CoinMENA FZE, holds a broker-dealer license from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), shown as active on VARA’s public register.
vexjo: Vexjo Virtual Assets LLC is a Jordanian company in Amman. vexjo applied under Jordan’s virtual-asset law (application no. VASP-20260328-25) and in June 2026 became the first company to complete all of the JSC’s licensing requirements (our own statement). Like every other applicant, it does not hold a license yet. The JSC has not published a list of applicants. vexjo is not in the Central Bank’s sandbox. Until a license is granted, vexjo operates under Jordanian commercial law.
Check it yourself: Regulation No. 94 of 2025 requires the JSC to publish the names of licensed virtual-asset service providers on its website. There is no such list on the JSC website yet (checked 23 October 2026). We will link it here the day it appears.
Where vexjo wins
- Built for Jordan since 2016. Trading USDT for Jordanian dinars since 2016: in person and on WhatsApp first, online platform since 2019. 10,000+ completed trades since 2016 (in person, WhatsApp and the platform). Our Facebook page has been active since January 2022 (first as Osama Coins, now vexjo.com). It carries the Meta Verified badge, and customers have reviewed us there since January 2022. CoinMENA’s Jordan service started in September 2026.
- Pay straight into your order. There is no account to fund first and no 50 JOD deposit minimum: buy from 5 USDT and pay by CliQ. Dinar withdrawals from your vexjo wallet to your CliQ are free, from 1 JOD.
- USDT straight to your own wallet. The buy order itself sends the USDT to your BEP20 or TRC20 address. Compared with CoinMENA, there is no separate withdrawal step and no 30 USDT withdrawal minimum. No extra fees: the price you see is what you pay. On TRC20, the network fee is already in the JOD price (2 JOD as of 23 October 2026). On BEP20, we pay the network fee. CoinMENA’s fee schedule (dated 13 October 2026) lists 5 USDT per USDT withdrawal, or 3 USDT on Solana.
- TRC20 both ways. Holding USDT on TRON? Sell it to vexjo on TRC20 and get dinars by CliQ. CoinMENA’s published fee schedule lists TRC20 for USDT withdrawals, but not for USDT deposits.
- No limit on size. No limit on how much you buy or sell: up to 5,000 USDT per order in the app, as many orders as you need, and any size through our OTC desk. The desk works on WhatsApp (+962 79 090 9910) or face to face in Amman. You see the JOD total before you confirm, and the price is locked the moment the order is placed, so it holds while you pay by CliQ (CoinMENA also shows its fee at quote time, before you confirm).
- A team on WhatsApp, around the clock. Open 24/7. Buying: our team confirms your payment, then USDT goes to your wallet automatically. Selling: we check your USDT on the blockchain automatically, then send your dinars. Every customer can message our team on WhatsApp, in Arabic or English.
Where CoinMENA wins

Use CoinMENA if you want coins beyond USDT or more USDT networks; you prefer an iOS or Android app with open sign-up; or you want a platform inside the Central Bank of Jordan’s sandbox, with licenses in Bahrain and Dubai (CoinMENA’s status as of 23 October 2026).
Either way, skip unknown dealers in WhatsApp and Telegram groups: there is no company behind them, no record of the trade and no one to call if a transfer goes wrong.

Bottom line
CoinMENA is a regional multi-coin platform. It began serving Jordan in September 2026, inside the Central Bank of Jordan’s sandbox, and, as of 23 October 2026, it holds licenses in Bahrain and Dubai. vexjo has done one thing since 2016: trade USDT for Jordanian dinars. Today it does it as a Jordanian company in Amman, by CliQ in the app and through its OTC desk. Neither holds a Jordanian license yet. As of 23 October 2026, no company holds a virtual-asset (VASP) license from the JSC yet: on 22 September 2026 the JSC stated that no VASP is licensed by it and that applications are still under review. CoinMENA is testing inside the Central Bank’s sandbox. vexjo is not in the sandbox; it applied to the JSC (application no. VASP-20260328-25). The JSC has not published a list of applicants. For the dinar leg in Jordan, vexjo is built for the job. For many coins, more USDT networks, a store app or a platform inside the Central Bank of Jordan’s sandbox, CoinMENA is the better tool, based on its status as of 23 October 2026.
